Weapons - Saber (continued) |
Two examples of temporarily reconfigured weapons: a Ghost Head
saber (upper) and |
a Goose Wing saber (lower) both clamped to a longer
handle. |
The movements done with each weapon (both original unmodified weapons
and the |
recombinants clamped to a long handle) were |
1. starting from an attention pose with the weapon held
vertically in the left hand at the |
left side |
2. rotate the weapon 90 degrees to the left so it is horizontal
at waist level - lunge left |
3. reverse the weapon 180 degrees horizontally and lunge to the
right |
4. slash down at about a 30 degree angle to the right front |
5. slash down at about a 45 degree angle (much steeper and the
weapon goes out of the |
frame) ending on the centerline at about waist height and
parallel to the ground |
6. lunge at the camera |
