Dancing with the single hook sword and the single wind-fire wheel creates some dramatic asymmetries. If anyone knows the name of the part of the handle the crescents protect I would be grateful. Or, for that matter, where the crescents came from historically. Wing Lam Enterprises sells two lengths 35" and 38" - I do not know what measure (like student height or student arm length, for example) determines which length of blade to select
