We are doubtful Pulau Sudong,
on an outlying island, would be
operable. Even if it were, it is
unclear how useful it would be
as cargo would then need to be
brought to the metropolitan area.

Using Berlin 1949 as a basis, any
remaining functional airports
would have to handle 200 flights
of C-130J transports per day just
to sustain Singapore itself -
nothing for nearby portions of
Indonesia, Malaysia or Papua
New Guinea. Of concern is
where the supplies are being
flown from. Note that the C-130
required 10 man-hours of
maintenance for each flight hour.
