In general, the Ivory Coast is a fine candidate for continuous counting because of large-scale shifts in population due to droughts, war, refugees (Ivoirians living outside the country as well as people from neighboring countries living in the Ivory Coast)  and internal displacements. It is estimated that the Ivory Coast hosts more than one million people who are technically citizens of Burkina Faso, as well as hundreds of thousands of workers (perhaps another million in total) from other neighboring countries.
Imports and exports in millions of US dollars. AIDS is estimated number of adults living with AIDS (understates who is HIV positive). The decline in AIDS is interpreted as people dying faster.
