| We currently have a single drone which we would like to use to check for wild fires. it was very disappointing to be told | ||
| that about half of California fires are intentional arson. Worse, very few perpetrators get apprehended and convicted. | ||
| The desirable properties for security cameras are /1/ no blind spots around the house and outbuildings (like a separate | ||
| garage) /2/ some low-light, twilight or night-time vision /3/ coverage for any gate and driveway /4/ adequate recording | ||
| /5/ the ability to detect license plates from either direction (so at least two cameras) /6/ links to your personal cellular phone | ||
| are important /7/ links to local law enforcement should be considered. /8/ There is also how to power cameras if electricity is | ||
| lost. /9/ there is something to be said for adding microphones, jingle bells on kevlar and aimable lasers. | ||
