| (plain old telephone service) landline telephone. Annoyingly, if our service service tech is to be believed, one or more | ||||
| squirrels have tried to store acorns in the wiring box that connects our house to the main neighborhood circuit. This | ||||
| resulted in a 'line in use' status on the telephone and no calls in or out. TWICE. Just one phone in use at present. | ||||
| It is currently (2026) difficult to get reliable cellular service and there are sizable dark territories nearby. | ||||
