The five orange dots circled in
yellow and representing major
marine events cause us the
most concern in terms of
tsunamis. Not that we think
damage today from any of the
historical events along the
northern and southern coasts
would be trivial. Any ships
caught in any of the straits
would be overwhelmed.
Getting a loaded oil tanker out
of harm's way would be quite
laborious, so the more warning
ocean bottom methane sensors
could provide, the better.
Trying to clean the contents of  
a VLCC out of the western
portion of Osaka Bay would be
very tedious.
