Once the Black King is out of immediate danger the White Bishop must retreat
(move 24). The Black Rook now begins to exert pressure - coming soon is the
sequence of pawn to d5 threatening Bishop captures at a3. If White takes back the
White Knight at c3 falls to the Black Rook. White's 25th move prevents this and
initiates an attack on the d pawn. Black takes advantage of his ownership of the
g1-a7 diagonal to exchange rooks and deliver a stinger check.
