"One of the reasons geometry has been taught for more than two thousands years is that
its constructions with all their triangles and circles afford a universal visual pleasure
to humans all over Planet Earth. A second reason is that once a geometric result is
proven it is always true everywhere. This constancy means it does not matter if a
triangle was studied by a German girl in a democratic but besieged Berlin in 1949 or by
a Peruvian boy when the Incan Empire was at its height.

Yet, in America we have a variable geometry. As a student, it matters not only WHERE
you are but WHEN.

There are five high schools in Campolindo's district. Del Oro is currently a continuation
school, so no score. It may be closed down to save money."
