Our CHIRU software predicted 69% voter turnout. We had concerns about the
voting technology Britain uses. At the moment, the turnout is 65.2% and there
were problems. CHIRU also predicted 299 seats for the Conservative Party
(currently, 301); 251 for Labor (currently, 255); 63 for Liberal Democrats
(currently 55) ; 25 for smaller parties (currently, 27). The magic number is 326
so things will get complex. We are not grasping whatever messages the British
voters sent. One thing is certain - tough financial times ahead.
