Venezuela should be producing much more sulfur - it can be mined directly or made as a byproduct of refining our heavy crude oil. For many metals mining raw ores is good, but it is far better for Venezuela in terms of jobs and income if both refining and processing is done here. We sell cheap iron so we can buy expensive steel.
