Known and confirmed craters in northern Africa. Vredefort in South Africa is 300 KILOMETERS across. The  good thing about craters, as long as the asteroid or comet does not wipe out your country, is that they are good places to look for minerals and hydrocarbons. It is worth a modest amount of work to see if Venezuela has any offshore craters either in the Caribbean or the Atlantic.
