The reactor at Unterweser was once the largest in the world. It is on the Weser
river near the port of Bremerhaven. It was taken offline in March 2011, and its
eventual fate is currently under discussion. We would imagine, given its age,
odds of a restart are slim. Once it and the Elbe River reactors are deconstructed
we would have no (zero) concerns about a North Sea tsunami damaging German
nuclear plants. That's not to say that there would not be other enormous
economic and logistical consequences.
