			Actually, the major threat to gazelles everywhere is humans with projectile 
weapons and with flocks of goats and sheep. After that, prior to their dramatic 
decline in numbers, cheetahs used to be the major danger. It would doubtless have helped were gazelles easier to 
domesticate. There is some evidence that suggests as the climates in Africa and Europe changed to favor 
grasslands over jungle 
			gazelles edged out apes.
