Rentería Herazo of the San Francisco Giants managed to hit another home run
without a pitch being thrown. He took note that horrific flooding in his home
city of Barranquilla on the Caribbean coast of Colombia had left nearly a
million people homeless, clean water was a serious problem, food distribution
was a challenge and substantial medical care would be needed. Accordingly, he
felt there were better uses for time, effort and money than to throw him a
parade.
Perhaps if Barranquilla gets rectified, he can run for Mayor of San Francisco.
Or New Orleans.
