In response to a question from the audience, yes we did
simulate all of these schemes using our GERENUK software.
With the possible exception of the suggestions in items 2
and 6 NONE (zero, not one) of these ideas should ever be
considered. As to item
6, as the recent explosion and fires in San Bruno illustrate,
disasters are extremely
difficult to predict. What is EASY to predict is that disasters happen. Prayer is
always useful, but so are
planning and practice.
