Six years ago we were
exploring the computational
difficulties of discovering
multi-national Nash
equilibria. Named for Nobel
Economics laureate John F.
Nash, Jr. of Princeton
University, these are
strategies in games theory
where all players win. We
wrote a very mathematical
application named HIROLA
that searched for these
tableaux. It turned out that
HIROLA particularly liked
the effects networks of
magnetically levitated
(maglev) trains and
super-urban areas
(supurbs) could have on
economies. The yellow lines
are suggested maglev routes.
