Red-tinted lenses for blue light blocking |
|
These are from SafetyBlue. They block 99.9% of blue and green
light. This supposed to reduce insomnia and decrease the |
need for melatonin supplements while improving circadian rhythm
and reducing sleep disruption. We do NOT have a |
really reliable way to measure how deep the sleep is, but these
lenses are supposed to help with that as well. Some of our |
students who have seizures triggered by glare, bright light and
other similar effects wear these glasses. Might be useful |
for jet lag - if anyone ever takes long airplane flights again.
As far as we know, also UV-400. The recommendations have |
been to wear the glasses whenever there are bright lights and
for 1 to 3 hours before sleep is desired. About $56 |
