are rivers (transporting water, goods and people), mountains (inhibiting people, roads and planes), deserts (usually inhibitors), forests of various kinds (also inhibitors, and perhaps even disease reservoirs) and cities (rich sources for new epidemic victims, but also focus points for medical care and related logistics).
