For Investors - The demographics of disabilities and estimates of autism. Epidemiological work specifically on autism spectrum disorders and generally  on the thirty-odd spectra we find of interest is lacking. Our estimates suggest that currently autism spectrum disabilities make up 2/3s of the disabled population under age 60.
